RECIPIENTS

Where does the donated equipment go?

​

The donated equipment goes to schools and programs in Arlington and in neighboring locations serving at-risk youth.  We also send soccer equipment to kids in Africa.  

 

If you know of a group, program, school, or organization that would benefit from receiving the sports equipment, please contact us.   We would like to especially focus on Arlington programs.

​

Items have been passed along to organizations/programs, including the following:

​

  • Ice hockey and figure skates, pads, equipment to Fort Dupont Ice Arena

  • Rollerblades to DC Inner City Excellence

  • Soccer balls, equipment, cleats, jerseys to Africa

  • Baseball bats, balls, gloves to Anacostia Charter School, Nationals Youth Academy

  • Lacrosse sticks, equipment, and net to Winners Lacrosse in DC

  • Rubber balls, jump ropes, scooters to Community Family Life Services in DC

  • Weights, baseball gloves, bats, helmets, etc. to Leveling the Playing Field

  • Cleats to Mt. Olivet's monthly distribution

  • Golf clubs, bags, balls, accessories to The First Tee of Greater Washington, DC

  • Baseball uniforms to the Dominican Republic

In Tanzania, Reuse and Replay provided school supplies and soccer balls and cleats to Maasai children.

​

Baseball caps with bandanas were given to albino children to protect their sensitive skin.

Reuse and Replay has donated more than $10,000 of sports equipment to our partners in Maryland - Leveling the Playing Field

Over 150 donated cleats/shoes were passed on to Mt. Olivet's monthly ministry, and over 100 cleats will be sent to Africa.

Hockey and figure skates, helmets, pads, bags, gloves, and socks were donated to Fort Dupont Ice Arena for their at-risk youth program.

Reuse and Replay is made up entirely of volunteers and is organized and operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit association.
